Fully Automatic Side Sealer Model WD-550S

The WERDEN WD-550S Fully Automatic Side Sealer is designed for continuous and efficient shrink wrapping of products across a wide range of sizes and applications. Unlike conventional L-sealers, the side sealing system allows products of varying lengths to pass through continuously, making it particularly suitable for high-volume packaging operations.
The machine automatically adjusts to different product lengths while maintaining a consistent side seal throughout the packaging process. With a sealing speed of up to 15 metres per minute, the WD-550S helps increase packaging productivity while reducing manual handling and film waste.

The WD-550S can accommodate products up to 500 mm in width and 250 mm in height, with no fixed maximum product length. This makes it suitable for longer products as well as products with varying dimensions.

Designed for use with POF and PVC shrink film, the machine provides a neat and secure film package that can subsequently be passed through a shrink tunnel for the final shrink-wrapping process.

Typical Applications

For complete shrink wrapping, the WD-550S can be paired with a compatible shrink tunnel to heat-shrink the film tightly around the product.
