Utilizing premier 2D barcode scanning technology, the PA768 enables barcode reading at distances up to 10m with an optional middle-range engine, delivering strong performance whether scanning from a short or long distance to optimize work efficiency.

Supports ARCore Technology

The PA768 supports Google ARCore, letting developers build augmented reality apps that sense the environment and interact with information — useful for locating and identifying elements in warehouse management, training users during production processes, and flagging risk areas to reduce accidents in field service.

User-Friendly Functionality

True hot-swap battery design keeps applications active for up to 1 minute during battery replacement, eliminating downtime. Its ergonomic handle and durable trigger key suit long-duration use, and the touchscreen works reliably with gloves (≤4mm thickness) or wet fingers.

SmartPA: Better Audio Output

SmartPA enhances sound quality and maximum volume from a relatively small speaker, with a built-in algorithm that minimizes circuit/temperature damage — useful for clear communication in noisy environments.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

Converts numbers or characters on cardboard, paperwork, or electronic chips into digital format, minimizing typing mistakes — useful for reading passport ID numbers (airline ground services), vehicle registration numbers and electronic chips (manufacturing), and lot numbers on packages (logistics and retail).

Softpay & Google SmartTap Support

Supports the Softpay softPOS application, turning the PA768 into a mobile point-of-sale device for processing payments anywhere on the shop floor.
